Descripció:
LISA (Laser Interferometer Space Antenna) is a large-class mission of the European Space Agency (ESA) to observe, for the first time, gravitational-wave sources in the low-frequency band, from 0.1mHz to 1Hz. LISA was selected in 2017 after the success of the LISA Pathfinder technology demonstrator mission and the first detection of gravitational waves by the USA LIGO ground observatory, In 2024 LISA passed the mission adoption review and entered the implementation phase. This triggered a restructuring of the LISA consortium and a new organization of the mission groups.
